I know this is waaaaay too late to announce, but as of 07 April 2012, I am officially an RP-ian! Yeah! Since last week, I was really busy settling those enrolment issues since I was lack of time. But, alhamdulillah, everything was settled before school started! And yes, as mentioned in my previous post, my appeal was a success, thus, I am now in Diploma in Supply Chain Management (DSCM) IN Republic Polytechnic. Alhamdulillah.
School unofficially started on 16th April. I did not attend for the three-day orientation (because I do not think there is a need to). I am getting the hang of my new classmates. All of us are not from the same course (but some are). Everyday, we are located with different teams for each modules. Most of my classmates are nice people. It is fun working with them, actually :)
First lesson was a killer. We had Science. Since I am not a science person, whatever the topic is, I tend not to let myself understand it. So, I think I need to overcome my fears, seriously. Topic of the day was about blood types. The part that I always confuse myself is about antibodies & antigens. I do envy those who understand what it is all about. They are very, very, very good in it.
Second lesson was awesome. Really had fun doing it. I cannot remember what the module is called, but to be honest, it was awesome. I am looking forward for the next lesson. And today....? TODAY WAS A KILLER. IT WAS A KILLER. My worst nightmare. MATHEMATICS. Yes. Today was just the first lesson of it, and yet we had to do Algebra. How sad.
I swear I could not remember any of it because I had not been touching any maths problems for more than four years already. So, it was impossible for me to know everything today. I had no choice but to shut myself up & listen to my teammates explaination. I did apologize to them for not being able to understand some of their explainations. But slowly, I began to recall what I have learnt four years ago. But my maths skills are still freaking rusty. We played a game related to algebra & my team won today"s match. Credit goes to the ones solving almost all of the sums. Bravo!
And I am looking forward for tomorrow's module, which is Organisational Behaviour. Wooooots! By the way, my back is killing me. Been bringing my heavy laptop to school everyday. Not only that, we had a 15-minute walk to & from RP. I could forsee myself getting shorter. And slimmer (KIDDING!!!).
I think I should spend my weekends compiling notes for each module since I have not done any. Yeah, I should. And, oh! I managed to pamper myself by buying a new pair of pump shoes! Here it is!
Wanted the one in black but sadly, the one displayed was the last pair. So, I decided to get this color instead! Yay! Finally, a new pair of shoes for daily wear :) Happygirl9.0
I am all done with the daily assignments. But I think I will do the worksheet some other day. Gonna jet off!
