Scared To Death

Dear Readers,

How are you doing? I have some of wonderful news to share even though I am feeling pretty scared right now. I shall start..

2nd April:
In the previous post, I did hope for double the joyness. And I did! I took a half day leave from work to collect my CDC & CCC Good Progress Award at ITE Choa Chu Kang with Siti. On that day was the released of JPAE results. And I got into Republic Polytechnic! Alhamdulillah. The funny thing is, the course that I am being offered is not business-related. And that course is Diploma in Outdoor & Adventure Learning. Hmm..

On that day itself, Siti forwarded me an appeal letter & I sent mine to the Director of School Of Engineering as I appealed for Diploma in Supply Chain Management. But... I did not receive any replies from them. Thank God Nurul told me that we were allowed to appeal through DAE before 4th April. And we did. RP stated that results will be out by 6th April. So, for the whole of yesterday, I kept logging in & out from that DAE website, but to no avail. And that was not just me. So this is the reason why I am freaking out because if my appeal was unsuccessful, then I have only two days to settle the documents of the enrolment form. Plus, I need to take a picture for my ez-link, buy a laptop & head to RP to reformat and lastly, go to SATA (?) for medical checkup. I am doomed.

So, right now, I have no idea exactly what time the DAE results will be out. Hopefully by noon. Please.

Oh! And to Siti, thanks for accompanying me to our beloved campus & I really appreciate your help. Not to forget.. You looked so happy when I broke the news to you! Thanks!!


5th April:
My last day (6th was officially my last day of work). To be frank, I had no mood at all to do any of my work. Because it was my last day & all of us has this "Friday" feeling. But still, I was needed to teach a colleague some of my work. No, she is not taking over my work but it is because my other colleague was late. So I taught her some of the basics & let her do some hands-on. By 4pm, I had no time to continue with the teaching because most of them started to shift their things to their newly-assigned desks. And for my case, I had to transfer my files to another colleague's computer.

While waiting, I helped my colleague to shift some of her things.. And right now, my body is aching because those CPUs I carried were freaking heavy. Anyways, Cik Mah gave me six bars of Hershey's Dark Chocolate as a farewell gift. I was speechless, actually. And Cik Radziyah gave me some money. I refused to accept it at first. But she insisted. Another colleague treated me for lunch. She bought for me a porridge :) I felt so blessed that very day.

Thank you for all the gifts & duas you have made for me. I am very grateful. All I can say is: May Allah SWT bless you with good lives & good health. Insya'allah. Amin.

After work, I headed to Bugis & bought two sets of Mango Strudel for Sarcastic's birthday. While on my way out from Ang Mo Kio MRT station, I bumped into a long-time friend & we chatted for a short while.


6th April:
Sarcastic's 26th birthday. Funny thing is, she did not even know that her boyfriend was coming. Well, all of us were not aware too. And so Umi baked a... Strawberry cake? And fruit tarts.. And the main dish was potato mixed with egg. It was all satisfying. So happy birthday Sarcastic!


Okay. Now I am feeling anxious while posting this. Imma read 9Gag while waiting.
Hopefully, our prayers are answered. Amin, amin, amin.
